Born in Rome on September 13 1974, married and father of two children.
Adjuct Professor at the Luiss Business School, since May 2018 he has been President of the Human Technopole Foundation, a project he has been following since the pre-Expo Milano 2015, before as coordinator of the working tables aimed at defining the designation of the area at the end of the universal exposition, then as member of the Coordination Committee (2016-2018).
After the Master degree in Political Science in 2000, he obtained his PhD in Political Economy at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he started teaching in 2007 and became Associate Professor in 2013.
From 2014 to 2018, he was the main economic advisor to the Prime Minister on topics of international economic relations, trade, FDI and industrial policy. He was in charge of dealing with business and industrial partners to develop international projects and, on behalf of the Prime Minister, he has followed political and legislative dossiers, coordinating relevant ministries and public agencies.
Thanks to his research experience at the International Labor Organization (United Nations) in Geneva at the beginning of the 2000s, he became expert on comparative capitalism. His works have been published by leading international journals and he is the author of " Without alibi, because Italian capitalism no longer grows "on the cause for the crisis of the Italian capitalism after the 1990s.
