President of the Human Technopole Foundation

Since May 2018 he is the first President of Human Technopole Foundation. He has been following the project since its early phases by coordinating the working tables before the 2015 international Exposition to define the futue use of the spaces, and since 2016 as part of the Coordinating Comittee for the realisation of the Human Technopole project.
Following a degree in Political Science in 2000, he obtained a PhD in political economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he taught from 2007, becoming associate professor in 2013.
From 2014 to 2018 he was the main advisor to the Prime Minister for international economic affairs. He liaised with representatives from business and industry to develop international projects. On behalf of the Prime Minister he followed political and legislative dossiers, coordinating relevant ministries and public agencies.
He is an expert on comparative capitalism thanks to his experience as a researcher for the International Labour Organisation (UN) in Geneva at the beginning of the year 2000. He has been published in important international magazines and is the author of "No alibis. Why Italian capitalism has stopped growing", a book on the causes behind the crises of Italian capitalism after the 1990s.
